"I felt very lucky to have experienced Bufo/Sapo for the first time with Alicia. She is very open and transparent about the medicine. I could ask all the questions I wanted. I need to know every details in any process in life, she was gladly explaining everything to me. I could feel how tuned in she was with the medicine and the guidance from her ancestors which made me feel safe to let go and fully receive the medicine. "In my recent experience at the Ancestral Retreat, Alicia was my Kambo Practitioner. Some of the superpowers that I believe to be integral to healing is: trust, a great space holder, and attentive to one's needs sometimes even before they are. I believe that these are the qualities that would describe Alicia. However, words never do justice to such sacred embodiment of those qualities. Her presence alone does all of the necessary talking. Some of other words that I would use are: sweet, caring, vibrations from the heart, and gentle love. During ceremony, I remember feeling vulnerable and had a perceived block that I wasn't able to release what needed to come out: a roar of anger. I called Alicia over, and she felt like a rock. Ready to hold space for whatever transformation was about to happen. With every cell in my body, I let out a cry, a fierce roar the vibrated throughout my entire body. I wasn't done yet. Standing in her power, standing in my power, I let out what no longer serves me. I will never forget that feeling of safety and trust. Alicia a.k.a "the rock". From a deep soulful place, thank you for being part of my journey, for showing up in your strength, and being there in times where I needed a support and love.

"When I signed up for the weekend long ceremony, I felt some trepidation underlying my excitement. As soon as I stepped into the space however, I felt more at ease. I had no idea what would come up for me, and was scared of showing it. I cried a lot, wailed, screamed, and experienced an entire range of previously inaccessible emotion as I underwent the processes. There was a whole lot of 'ugly' and 'scary'. Throughout this, Alicia and her assistants comforted me with their presence. I felt safe, and held in my vulnerability as I explored my depths. The container created by all the participants made it completely safe for me to go in, and all my fears dissolved. I was able to breathe much easier after, feeling more in my body than ever. Alicias' skillful navigation of the ceremonial space along with her nurturing and light nature makes her a wonderful facilitator to sit with. Thank you, Alicia.”
